The closest airport is Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) for Honolulu, Hawaii. There are direct flights from many major U.S. cities, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Denver, Washington-Dulles, New York, and Atlanta.

Best way to fly there on points and miles:

United credit cardholders get a 10% discount on award flights, so the United Explorer card is a good option to earn and save miles. Otherwise, the Chase Sapphire Preferred has a big sign-up offer and you could transfer your Chase points to United at a 1:1 ratio. Apply here.

Where to Stay

We recommend arriving by Wednesday, May 12, and departing the evening of Saturday, May 15 or Sunday, May 16.

Our welcome luau at Nutridge Estate (about 20 minutes from Waikiki and 45 minutes from Ko Olina) starts at 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 13. We also plan to host a casual beach day on Saturday, May 15, in the early afternoon.

Option 1: Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina

The Four Seasons is within walking distance of our wedding venue. We will provide transportation from Ko Olina to the welcome luau.

Our guests receive 35% off the best available rate at the time of booking. We recommend reserving as early as possible, as rates may increase. Currently, the discounted rate is ~$665 per night, before fees and taxes.

The reservations office is open Monday through Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. HST and Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. HST.

Pro tip: If you have an AmEx Platinum card, add the AmEx offer to save $200 on bookings of $1,000 or more at Four Seasons, and use the card to book! This AmEx offer expires Aug. 4, 2026.

Other Hotel Options Near the Wedding Venue

Disney’s Aulani Resort and Marriott’s Ko Olina Beach Club are within walking distance of the wedding venue. The Embassy Suites and Marriott Residence Inn in Kapolei are about a 15-minute drive away.

Option 2: The Laylow Waikiki, Autograph Collection

The Laylow is located in Waikiki, approximately 45 minutes from the wedding venue. We will provide transportation to and from the luau and wedding.

Our group rate is $279 per night, plus a $30 nightly resort fee and taxes. The Marriott website may display a $50 resort fee, but the correct $30 rate will be applied at checkout in person.

Other Hotel Options in Waikiki

Waikiki has many hotels within walking distance of The Laylow. Some other recommendations would be the Hyatt Centric or Hyatt Place, which cost just 20,000 or 15,000 points per night. (You can transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards or Bilt points to Hyatt to book.) The Wayfinder Waikiki and Moana Surfrider are also available to book with hotel credits on the Chase Sapphire Reserve or AmEx Platinum.
